I earned my Master of Social Work from the University of Oklahoma in 2021 after completing two years of clinical internship at The Healing Arts Studio in Little Rock, Arkansas, a private practice specializing in Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT). While there, I received intensive training in modalities such as DBT, Internal Family Systems, and Brainspotting, and completed Marsha Linehan's Foundational DBT Certification.
After graduation, I spent three years working in group practice settings as a Psychotherapist, DBT Group Coordinator, and Interim DBT Program Director. In those roles, I carried an individual caseload, ran DBT skills groups, led DBT consultation teams, and helped develop programming from the ground up.
Eventually, I left agency work to start DBT Project: Oklahoma in 2024, a space where I could offer therapy that's radically client-centered, deeply compassionate, and grounded in evidence-based care without the red tape.
